Founded in 1993 by the Napoletano family, Solania combines cultivation and processing of San Marzano tomatoes through its cooperatives and plants, evolving into a leading Campania agri-food company that controls the entire production chain from seed to canning.
San Marzano tomato is one of the main ingredients of Italian culture in the world, a symbol of quality and taste but above all- a specific cultural identity. Some concomitant factors, such as the sunny and temperate Mediterranean microclimate that is influenced by the beneficial effects of the sea, the fertility of the volcanic soil, the rich water sources and surface aquifers, allow for perfect ripening and make it an ideal condiment for first and second courses. It gives its best on pizza, crushed strictly by hand.
