Another Dutch classical recipe. Gouda with Cumin is a deliciously creamy cheese which has had cumin seeds added to the curds during production. The slight spiciness of the Cumin adds a wonderful dimension to a fabulous Dutch classic. Our Gouda with Cumin is matured for a mere 8 weeks so the base Gouda is very supple and creamy combined with the added cumin seeds to give it a deliciously pungent spicy tang. In the Netherlands they enjoy Gouda with Cumin as part of their breakfast. It is a fabulous addition to any platter, it’s marvelous with a fine sourdough, some fresh figs and a drizzle of honey or use it in a decadent cheese tart for lunch, a stuffed chicken breast for dinner, or just simply enjoy on its own at any time of the day.Well suited to grilling/melting in a toasted sandwich, risotto or in oven baked dishes.SUGGESTED WINE PAIRING:White: Chardonnay, Viognier, Sauvignon BlancRed: Merlot, Cabernet, ShirazSUGGESTED BEER PAIRING: Pale Lager, Brown Ale, Pilsner, Wheat Beer
